Apollo Quiboloy, the captured religious leader and accused rapist, thanked his supporters and expressed his anticipation of seeing them “soon.”

In a statement released by Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) on Tuesday, Quiboloy conveyed his “sincere gratitude” to “everyone who has supported the Kingdom of Jesus Christ around the world.”

“To the Kingdom community, Full-Time Miracle Workers, and Kingdom Miracle Members: your steadfast dedication and resilience in protecting the Kingdom have not gone unnoticed,” Quiboloy said. He was apprehended in Davao City on Sunday, September 8, along with several of his subordinates, all of whom faced arrest warrants for child abuse and human trafficking.

He continued, “The Almighty Father has seen your unwavering commitment to the Word of God, even in the face of significant challenges.”

Quiboloy expressed his gratitude to his lawyers and recognized the vloggers who “supported them” at the KJC compound.

“To our esteemed lawyers—Atty. Israelito Torreon, Atty. Dinah Tolentino-Fuentes, and Atty. Adam Jambangan, along with their associates and the in-house Kingdom legal counsels—your legal expertise and commitment to the ministry have been truly invaluable,” he stated.

“The Father will bless you for your support during this crucial time.”

“To all our supporters worldwide: your donations, prayers, and sincere sympathy have deeply touched us. We look forward to reuniting with you soon for a blessed fellowship,” he continued.

Quiboloy and his co-accused—Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada, and Sylvia Camanes—were apprehended by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and transported from Davao City to Manila by a C-130 aircraft on Sunday night.

They were subsequently held at the PNP custodial center in Camp Crame, Quezon City, and were publicly presented at a press conference on Monday, September 9.

On September 9, Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 issued an order to transfer Quiboloy and Cresente Canada to the New Quezon City Jail in Payatas Road, Bagong Silangan, while Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, and Sylvia Camanes were directed to be moved to the Quezon City Jail-Female Dormitory in Camp Karingal.

Quiboloy and his five co-accused are facing child abuse charges in Davao City court, with one of them having been in custody since July. Additionally, Quiboloy is also facing a human trafficking charge in a Pasig City court.

He also faces multiple criminal charges in the United States. On January 31, 2022, the FBI released a wanted poster requesting information leading to Quiboloy's arrest on charges of "conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion; sex trafficking of children; bulk cash smuggling; and other related offenses."
