This follows his capture in Davao City the previous day. On September 9, the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 issued an order to "transfer and commit" Quiboloy and his co-accused Cresente Canada to the New Quezon City Jail on Payatas Road, Bagong Silangan. Meanwhile, his other co-accused—Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, and Sylvia Camanes—are to be transferred to the Quezon City Jail-Female Dormitory in Camp Karingal.
Apollo Quiboloy and four of his associates have been ordered to be transferred to the New Quezon City Jail.
In an order dated September 9, the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 directed that Quiboloy and his co-accused Cresente Canada be moved to the New Quezon City Jail on Payatas Road, Bagong Silangan. Additionally, his other co-accused—Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, and Sylvia Camanes—are to be transferred to the Quezon City Jail-Female Dormitory in Camp Karingal.
Following their capture on September 8 in Davao City, Quiboloy and his four aides were held at the Philippine National Police custodial center in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Quiboloy and his associates are facing child abuse and human trafficking charges in the courts of Davao City and Pasig City, respectively.
Additionally, Quiboloy faces multiple criminal charges in the United States. On January 31, 2022, the FBI released a wanted poster seeking information leading to his arrest for charges including “conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, sex trafficking of children, sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, conspiracy, and bulk cash smuggling.”
